  • How do treatments work?
When injected into the skin locally, the target underlying muscles are relaxed by blocking the nerve pulses that tell the muscles to contract. Once the muscles can no longer contract, the skin flattens, eventually smoothing existing wrinkles as well as preventing the formation of new ones.
  • How much does the treatments cost?
The cost will differ for each individual depending on many factors including your age, the area(s) being treated, genetics, lifestyle factors, and your desired look. For a personalised quote, please book a consultation with Nurse Britt who will assess and prescribe an individualised treatment plan with a focus on providing fresh and natural results.
  • Can I get any treatments when pregnant?
No, during the beautiful journey of pregnancy, it’s important to make health and wellbeing a top priority for both you and your baby. We can't wait to see you once you have had your baby and not breastfeeding.
  • Do I need to prepare for treatments?
One week prior to your appointment please avoid taking blood-thinning medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil. Please advise Nurse Britt if you: Have an auto-immune disorder Are regularly taking anti-coagulation therapy (e.g. Warfarin) Have a severe metabolic or systemic disorder
  • Can I fly after any treatment?
After dermal filler treatment, it is recommended to wait at least 7 days before flying, particularly for long-haul flights. The pressurised cabin environment can exacerbate swelling and bruising, which are common side effects of fillers. The most important consideration when deciding when to fly after dermal fillers is what you will do if there is a side effect. Most serious side effects from dermal fillers become apparent within the first 3-7 days after your treatment. To err on the side of caution, it is recommended to plan your travel in a manner that ensures convenient access to the clinic during this crucial period.
